The American Amphibious Force Association was formed to honor the memory of those who
served in the Amphibious Forces of the United States Navy and members of all branches
of the Armed Forces who served in amphibious operations. The Navy/Marine Corps Team
has fought to preserve the nation's liberties since it's birth and today is on the front lines
in the fight against terrorism.

The Association is seeking to preserve a T from the 1156 Class or above, as a symbol of the
contribution made by the Amphibious Forces to the defense of our nation and to provide a
focal point for community participation in events commemorating our Naval Heritage.

       AAFA in the future---
These are our hopes and aspirations for a future memorial:

The location of the home of the Amphibious Force Museum and Hall of Valor has not been determined.
We expect that exhibits will be planned for the following:

Afghanistan and the War on Terrorism,   The Cold War,   The Vietnam War,   Navy Seals and UDT,
Pearl Harbor,   Normandy, The Civil War,   The Revolutionary War,   The War of 1812,   Women Gators,
        and other subjects as determined.

We plan a gift shop, meeting facilities, office facilities, and a large amount of exhibit space.
Support for the Museum and Hall of Valor is urgently needed.  Corporate donors will be asked to participate.
